We asked ourselves which is the right exhibition for a company.
The perfect exhibition doesn’t exist and, as most of the things in this world, what’s good for a company might be bad for another company.
We would start from the goal we want to reach with our participation. Do we want to get new customers? Do we want to strengthen relations with our old contacts? Do we want to rise our prestige in the market? Do we want to present a new product? Do we want to sell out our stocks in the storage? I believe most of the companies wants them all! But is better to focus on the most important.
Another important question is: are we looking for distributors, importers, re-sellers, retailers (B2B) or final customers/users (B2C)?
Following more questions that you should ask yourself when selecting an exhibition:
- Which is the sector of focus?
- Which country? Which city?
- B2B or B2C?
- National or International?
This questions will help you screening the trade show and get a pool of fairs that you can easily assess taking into consideration the costs (all the costs not only the area), the number of visitors and exhibitors and the concurrents participating.
Do you think there are other variables to take into consideration?
